Team Atayne -- Will Run 4 Trash

While the Maine Marathon entrants run for pride and a sense of accomplishment, Team Atayne will run for trash and a cleaner environment. Following behind the race participants, Team Atayne will sweep the course, leaving it cleaner than the marathon found it.

Sponsored by Atayne, a company developing a line of planet and people friendly performance apparel, Team Atayne is seeking volunteers (running and non-running) to support this effort. If you are interested in showing the running community how marathons are done "Maine style," contact Jeremy Litchfield. All Atayne volunteers will receive a complimentary Atayne performance top, made from nothing other than trash.
