| Description: | East end of Anacostia Park. Runners heading west. All on-course volunteers to report to the Water Stop and check in with POC. The POC to call back to Volunteer Coordinator on status of volunteer NLT 7:00 AM. Set-up should be completed 30 minutes prior to the expected time of the first runners. All volunteers must wear rubber protective gloves. Dispense water and sports drinks and cheer runners as they pass through. Observe for potential medical or security situations and alert POC. Breakdown and clean up area after last runner passes. |
