| Description: | LOCATION: Location 3 - 10 mi. turn - there will be a column of balloons and a sign - 2 marshals CHECK IN: Volunteer Check-In Tent; Minnehaha Park, 4801 Minnehaha Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota EQUIPMENT: Volunteer Shirt- to be picked up at Volunteer Check-In Tent at race HQ. Chair to be provided by volunteer if desired. DUTIES: The Police will close the race course at approximately 7:30 a.m. A Police vehicle will come in advance of the lead runner and another Police vehicle will follow the last runner. Your job is to act as a cheerleader and a human arrow directing the participants along the course. Feel free to bring a chair. PARKING: Street parking is available free of charge. Very limited parking is available in the parking lots at the start/finish, but the access roads to and from such lots will be closed until approximately Noon. Accordingly, it is recommended that you do not park in the lots. |
