I understand that my participation as a volunteer for the 13.1 Chicago Marathon can expose me to both known and unanticipated risk. In consideration for being allowed to participate in the events, I hereby assume all risk of injury and or loss of property and wave any rights I might have to compensation. I do hereby and release US Road Sports & Entertainment of Chicago, LLC, their sponsors, Vision Event Management LLC, their employees, agents and or representatives and anyone else associated with the 13.1 Chicago Marathon, including other volunteers, from any and all claims or liability for personal injury or property damage I may suffer in regards to my participation with the 13.1 Chicago Marathon, even if caused by the negligence of any and all of the related parties. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless and release party from any cost or damage including attorney fees as a result of my violation of the Release and Waiver of Rights. This indemnification shall apply even if any or all of the release parties cause my injury or loss by their negligence. I also consent to allow my picture or likeness to appear in any 13.1 Chicago Marathon or Vision Event Management document, sponsor advertisement and or television coverage without any compensation to me.
