Volunteer Waiver

I wish to volunteer for the Colorado Rockies Home Run for the Homeless (Event). I understand the nature of the volunteer activities I may perform in my capacity as a volunteer may involve physical activity, work with machinery, contact with unidentified and/or unfamiliar persons, and/or other potential risk of bodily injury and/or damage to myself, my property, and/or to other third parties and their property, which may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, the conditions in which the Event takes place, or the negligence of the (Released Parties) named below. In consideration of being allowed to volunteer, I hereby assume full and complete responsibility for all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages I or any third parties incur as a result of my participation in the Event.

On behalf of myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns, and anyone else who might attempt to sue on my behalf, I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, and FOREVER DISCHARGE the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, Ltd. (Rockies), Major League Baseball (MLB), Denver Metropolitan Major League Baseball Stadium District, The Downing Group, its employees, agents and sub-contractors, WB2 Gives Charities, Robert R. McCormick Tribune Fund and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, all Event sponsors, Event producers, Event staff, administrators, officials, contractors, vendors, and organizers (including race directors), volunteers, all other persons or entities involved with the Event, the City and County of Denver, and the parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, administrators, insurers, representatives, successors and assigns of each of the above (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses (economic and/or non-economic), damages, costs and/or expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys??? fees and costs), arising out of or in any way related to my volunteering for the Event (collectively "claims"), for death, personal injury, and/or property damage, which may arise out of my services as a Volunteer for the Event, whether caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of any Released Party, and claims relating to the provision of first aid, medical care, medical treatment, or medical decisions (at the Event site or elsewhere), including negligent rescue operations.

In the event of a lawsuit arising out of my services as a Volunteer for the Event, I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY and HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties from any and all expenses incurred or claims made, including but not limited to attorneys fees and litigation expenses that arise out of or result from, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, a breach or failure to abide by any part of this Volunteer Release Form.
